"Do not be fooled by its unassuming decor. The staff is very friendly and attentive. Inside looks like a typical BKK rustic bar, far from being an expected Myanmar restaurant with soothing music and cute waitresses. The music was mostly hip-hop. The food is another level. We wanted a traditional Myanmar lunch and we got what we wanted. It was delicious. You can tell the chef knows how to cook and loves to cook. It tasted like a home-cooked food your aunt makes at her house. I am impressed. This is one of the top 3 Myanmar restaurants in town."

"8/10 for authentic Burmese taste. Located near Ratchaparop ARL and wholesale shopping malls. Service was brilliant as well. Especially, Mya Lay (waitress). She has a wonderful personality, patience and she knows the process of the service. She can also explain about the Burmese cuisine in English to me . Affordable prices. Overall 7.5/10."

"Lunch goals met at One Step Bar and Restaurant! The pork and djenkol beans curry had the most delicious, rich gravy. Paired with a super fresh pennywort leaf salad and amazing sides like fish paste and pickled mango salad, it was a perfect meal. Plus, the vibe is cozy and the service is on point. Definitely coming back!"
